William D. Ledford, DDS
Dentist
Dr. William Ledford graduated from the University of Missouri Kansas City Dental School in 1992. Prior to dental school, he attended Drury University. Dr. Ledford has been actively practicing dentistry since 1998. Dr. Ledford feels strongly about continuing education. He exceeds annual CE requirements by taking courses and receiving advanced training in a variety of dental topics, including TruDenta® training at the Las Vegas Dental Institute. He wants to make sure his patients receive the most up-to-date care possible. As a dentist, his goal is to help our patients maintain their teeth for a lifetime and educate them on how to do so. Dr. Ledford and his wife, Amy, recently celebrated their 25th anniversary. Together they have three children, Kameron, Evan, and Olivia. Over the last decade, Dr. Ledford has sponsored various girls and boys sports teams in the community. When not at the office, you are likely to find him at the golf course.

Karsen Lechner
Practice Administrator
Karsen moved to Kansas City after graduating from Dental Assisting School. She practiced as an assistant before moving into the business side of dentistry. She has a passion for the dental field as well as for creating a perfect environment and experience for each and every patient. Outside of the dental world, Karsen dedicates the majority of her time to exercise and community outreach. She is a volunteer soccer coach for the Grandview Parks and Rec Department. While she does have a beautiful husband and two beautiful children, she also has the greatest cat family of all time consisting of Jude, Toby, and a calico named Rachel.
Crystal Highfll
Dental Hygienist
Crystal graduated in 2005 with her bachelor’s degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Dentistry. She has worked with Dr. Ledford for 11 years and counting. Crystal enjoys educating all patients on their specific dental hygiene needs. She performs thorough cleanings, scaling and root planing, oral cancer screenings, and digital X-rays. Crystal is also certified in administering local anesthetics, nitrous oxide, and CPR. Crystal has been married to her husband, Kyle, since June 2005. They have two beautiful children, Juliana and Dominic. Crystal stays busy spending time with her family, shopping, and keeping up with her kids’ many activities.
Erica Edwards
Dental Hygienist
Erica was born and raised here in the Kansas City area. She graduated from Johnson County Community College in 2014 with a dental hygiene degree and is licensed in both Kansas and Missouri. Erica values building relationships with her patients and making them feel comfortable when they are in her care. Erica’s dedication for helping patients achieve the best health possible shows in the improvements in their overall health. In her spare time, Erica enjoys spending time with her husband, two daughters, friends and family, coaching youth soccer, gardening, and working out.
Gina Ashley
Dental Assistant
Gina is Dr. Leford’s full-time assistant and has been with him for 10 years and counting. She has been in the dental field as an assistant for 26 years. She is a people person, so helping patients feel relaxed and comfortable comes easy to her. Gina was raised in a military family. She started her dental studies in high school while stationed in Naples, Italy. Upon returning to the states, she continued her studies by working as a volunteer in a dental office. She currently lives in Independence, MO, with her husband and their three much-loved dogs. They have raised a son and daughter who are grown and out of the nest. Her son has recently blessed her with a grandson who is the joy of her life.
